Discover what's new at Properteasy! We're excited to introduce the highly anticipated PropertyMe integration in this update.

We’re thrilled to announce our November update for Properteasy, featuring enhancements that elevate your property compliance management experience!

The highlight of this update is our integration with PropertyMe, a game-changer that takes our application to the next level.

This seamless connection allows you to manage your property data more efficiently than ever before. Additionally, we’ve added a useful company setting and enabled converting properties to common property with a single click. Let’s explore these exciting features!

1. PropertyMe Integration

PropertyMe integration

We are excited to announce our integration with PropertyMe.

This integration automates compliance, provides real-time insights, and safeguards sensitive data, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service to your customers, adding value to your owners, and ultimately growing your business.

Why Integrating with PropertyMe?

PropertyMe is one of the most popular property management software solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Since it is widely used by many of Properteasy’s customers, we are excited to connect with PropertyMe to simplify the management of your property compliance.

Let’s have a look at what this integration will enable:

How It Works

Importing Properties from PropertyMe

PropertyMe initial import

When you sign up with Properteasy and connect your PropertyMe account, we will import all your properties from PropertyMe.

From that point forward, new and archived properties will be synced on a scheduled basis.

Syncing Properties with PropertyMe

PropertyMe daily sync

This scheduled syncing ensures that you always have the most up-to-date list of properties in Properteasy, with automatic updates occurring daily.

If you assign a property to a different manager, this will also be reflected in Properteasy.

Importing Suppliers from PropertyMe

PropertyMe suppliers import

When your portfolio is connected to PropertyMe, you can selectively import suppliers from PropertyMe.

Not all your suppliers in PropertyMe are compliance-related, so you can select only those that you want to use in Properteasy.

Creating Jobs in PropertyMe

PropertyMe jobs

From any task in Properteasy, you can create a job in PropertyMe with a single click.

Any status changes to this job in PropertyMe will be synced back to Properteasy.

This way, you have a clear connection between a compliance task in Properteasy and a job in PropertyMe.

Assigning Jobs to Suppliers

PropertyMe jobs assigned

All jobs created in Properteasy can then be assigned to any of the imported suppliers.

Behind the scenes, we are using the PropertyMe API to approve and assign the job, so you can find these jobs in the assigned tab in PropertyMe.

Privacy and Data Protection

PropertyMe privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy and data of your rental providers and renters.

Unlike other integrations, we do not import or store any of their personal data.

When you create a compliance-related job from Properteasy, we will use the PropertyMe API to create the job in PropertyMe.

The selected supplier will receive an email with the job details and renter details pulled directly from PropertyMe.

The email will be sent by PropertyMe, using your already set up email templates and email signatures.

This safeguards your agency from exposing an entire database of contacts to third-party software and applications.

2. Company Setting for Required Documents

PropertyMe documents

We believe that having a current expiry date along with the relevant document is essential for proving compliance.

That’s why, by default, a document is required whenever you change a compliance expiry date.

In this update, we’ve introduced the option to temporarily disable certain document requirements.

This allows you to change dates without needing to upload any documents.

However, we do not recommend turning this feature off unless you need to quickly input initial dates from a spreadsheet or other CRMs.

3. Convert Property to Common Property

PropertyMe common property

This might not apply to all of you, but if you are using “Common Property” in your portfolio, you might find this feature useful.

We have added the option to convert a property to Common Property with a single click.

This will hide the property compliance cards and exclude the property from compliance reporting.

Optionally, you can add relevant properties, for example, a few units in a multi-unit property.

This will let you quickly see all properties that are part of this Common Property.

What’s Next?

We’re excited to introduce these new features in Properteasy that enhance your property management experience.

With the PropertyMe integration, easier document management, and automated syncing, managing your properties’ compliance has never been simpler.

But there’s more to come!

Keep an eye out for future updates that will continue to improve your workflow and efficiency.

We are dedicated to simplifying the work of property managers, making your tasks easier and more efficient.

In the meantime, enjoy these updates and manage your properties with confidence!

And if you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Happy property managing!
